RESOURCES

Below are categories of recommended resources for emotional well-being.  I have a personal connection with most of these resources, whether I have found them to be essential in my work as a psychologist or helpful in my personal life.   Some resources are geared towards parents, as they are great tools for guiding their children through common challenges that come up along the road of child development.  Other resources are geared towards specific clinical populations, such as resources for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).  You will also find resources for individuals struggling with anxiety, ADHD, and OCD.  The resources are a mix of books for purchase and free online resources.  Finally, I have included a page of resources for making a difference, meaning a list of agencies that represent a cause.  This is part of my mission of linking mental health with advocacy of global issues, given that making a difference increases our sense of purpose and at the same time requires resilience.
