RESOURCES FOR ADOLESCENTS
These resources include online tools, books, and articles that I have found helpful in my work with adolescents. They can be helpful for parents to use in understanding their adolescent children and guiding them through coping skills.

These videos were created for CHADD an organization that provides resources for individuals with ADHD.  They cover a range of topics, including coping skills for regulating emotions and tools to improve organization skills.

This is a wonderful self-help resource for teens who are struggling with OCD and their families.

SMART BUT SCATTERED TEENS BY PEG DAWSON, ED.D. AND RICHARD GUARE, PH.D.
I have recommended this resource to teens and parents in order to help them understand their skills for organization, memory, and emotion regulation.  It includes self-assessments and accompanying explanations of techniques for areas individuals wish to enhance.  The tools in this book are helpful to the parent-child relationship as well.
